You want speed, but you also want grip. You want your shoes lightweight, but you also want protection and durability. That’s why we built UA Flow. UA Flow is our versatile, all-in-one cushioning system that uses next-gen tech and materials science to push things forward.
UA Flow trainers use a material we built in collaboration with chemicals giant Dow. The innovative technology gives you exceptional cushioning, but without needing an additional rubber outsole (as is required with traditional foam cushioning that can’t handle the friction). Hard-wearing UA Flow is also super grippy, meaning you can stop, start, and change direction without slipping.
UA Flow shoes were originally built as part of our collaboration with NBA legend Stephen Curry. UA Flow basketball shoes perform incredibly on hard surfaces, and are super lightweight and grippy. But we realised UA Flow is also ideal for running (we use it in the UA Flow Velociti Wind) - that grippy quality makes it an amazing platform for accelerating off. UA Flow is also perfect for training shoes - it gives you the cushioning of a running shoe, and the stability of weightlifting trainers.
